Fall 2026 Returning Undergraduates
Arriving students and families are welcome to ride our train shuttles free of charge between Kline Southbound Bus Stop and local train stations on the schedules below. Reservations are not required.
Saturday, August 29, 2026:
Rhinecliff Station (Amtrak) Rhinecliff Road at Hutton Street
- Bus Departs Kline South Stop to RHI: 12:20 PM | 1:50 PM | 5:30 PM
- Bus Departs RHI Station to Bard: 9:15 AM | 1:00 PM | 3:10 PM | 6:30 PM
- For Trains Arriving 8:58 AM | 12:50 PM | 2:58 PM | 6:20 PM
Travel to Rhinecliff Station takes about 25 minutes. A Tonche Transit White or Yellow School Bus will drop off and pick up passengers at Rhinecliff Station on Rhinecliff Road at Hutton Street, Click the link and zoom in for the location. Arriving passengers will be dropped off at the Reem Kayden Center until Registration ends, and at Security and Kline Bus Stop after.
Shuttles depart Kline Southbound Bus Stop at 12:20 PM, 1:50 PM, and 5:30 PM to return parents and guests to Rhinecliff Station. Reservations are not required
Poughkeepsie Station (Metro-North and Amtrak) Bus Horseshoe
- Bus Departs Kline South Stop to POU: 11:50 AM | 3:50 PM | 6:00 PM
- Bus Departs POU Station to Bard: 9:30 AM | 1:10 PM | 5:10 PM | 7:10 PM
- For Trains Arriving 9:01 AM | 12:58 PM | 5:02 PM | 6:58 PM
Travel to Poughkeepsie takes about 50 minutes. A Tonche Transit Yellow or White School Bus will drop off and pick up passengers at the Poughkeepsie Station Bus Horseshoe off the main lobby. Click the link and zoom in for the location. Arriving passengers will be dropped off at the Reem Kayden Center until Registration ends, and at Security and Kline Bus Stop after.

ROUTE C BUS & DUTCHESS COUNTY PUBLIC TRANSIT
Monday-Saturday -Bard Students, Staff, and Faculty are encouraged to use the Dutchess County Public Transit Route C Bus. Thanks to our partnership with DCPT, the ride is always free on any route when you show your valid Bard College ID.
