Fall 2024 Returning Undergraduates

Bard Transportation Services is offering free transportation to returning undergraduates from Poughkeepsie and Rhinecliff Stations on the dates and times listed below.  Reservations are not required.

Amtrak (NYC to Rhinecliff)

Bard 14 passenger shuttle will depart Rhinecliff Station on Hutton Street at the following times: All passengers will be dropped at the check-in location on Bard’s Annandale campus until registration is closed, and at Kline Bus stop after registration hours end.

Travel from Rhinecliff Station takes 20 to 25 minutes, depending on weather and traffic.  Plan your train times accordingly.

  • Friday, Aug 30, 2024: 12:15 PM | 1:15 PM | 3:15 PM | 4:15 PM
  • Saturday, Aug 31, 2024: 12:15 PM | 1:15 PM | 3:15 PM | 4:15 PM*
  • Sunday, Sep 1, 2024: 5:15 PM | 7:15 PM
  • *Sat, Aug 31: Guests and family may return to Rhinecliff Station, departing Kline Southbound Bus Stop at 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.

Metro-North (NYC to Poughkeepsie)

Bard Express Vans or TTI White or Yellow School Bus will depart Poughkeepsie Station Taxi Stand/Bus Horseshoe off the main lobby at the following times:  All passengers will be dropped at the check-in location on Bard’s Annandale campus until registration is closed, and at Kline Bus stop after registration hours end.

Travel from Poughkeepsie Station takes 45 to 55 minutes, depending on weather and traffic.  Plan your train times accordingly.

Dutchess County Transit’s Route “C” Bus to and from Poughkeepsie Train Station for Metro-North and Amtrak trains is free with a current Bard Student ID ($1.75 without ID). The Route “C” Bus schedule runs Monday through Saturday.
