SPRING RECESS 2026 Saturday, March 14 through Sunday, March 22

These shuttles are to provide Transportation to Area Airports for Spring Recess.  Reservations are required.

The Transportation Store will be open by February 1!  Reserve your Spring Recess and End of School Year Airport Shuttle Seats, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • The deadline to reserve for Spring Recess is 4:00 PM Wed, Mar 4.
  • The last day to reserve for End of School Year is 4:00 PM Wed, May 19.

Friday, March 13

Area Airports: JFK, LaGuardia, & Albany depart @ 11:00 AM ***Reservations Required

Our regular Weekend Train Shuttles will be in operation Fri, Mar 13 & Sun, Mar 15.  We’ve added the following Sat, Mar 14 Train Shuttle.  Reservations are not required

Depending on weather and traffic, travel to Rhinecliff Station takes 20 to 25 minutes.  Travel to Poughkeepsie takes 50 to 65 minutes.  Plan your train times accordingly.

Rhinecliff Station (Amtrak) Rhinecliff Road at Hutton Street

ROUTE C BUS  &  DUTCHESS COUNTY PUBLIC TRANSIT

Monday-Saturday -Bard Students, Staff, and Faculty are encouraged to use the Dutchess County Public Transit Route C Bus.  Thanks to our partnership with DCPT, the ride is always free on any route when you show your valid Bard College ID.

No DCPT Bus Service on New Year’s Day, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day.

The Route C Bus is operated by Dutchess County Public Transit.  Please call DCPT at 845-473-8424
