NEW Trial Databases: RIPM & RIPM Jazz Periodicals

RIPM (Retrospective Index to Music Periodicals)  with Full Text and North American and European Music Periodicals — provides access to eighteenth-, nineteenth- and twentieth-century periodical literature dealing with music. Available until May 31, 2020.

RIPM Jazz Periodicals — a unique, searchable collection of American (U.S) full-text jazz journals and magazines published from 1914 to roughly the year 2000. Developed in collaboration with the Institute of Jazz Studies (IJS) at Rutgers University and RIPM’s Partner and Participating Libraries, RIPM JAZZ PERIODICALS offers access, for the first time, to this essential documentary resource. All journal issues are out-of-print and rarely accessible, with numerous complete publication runs reconstructed by RIPM. Available until May 31, 2020.

Access Senior Projects from Off Campus

Current Bard students, staff and faculty now have remote access to all senior projects on Bard Digital Commons. You can browse and search our collections at https://digitalcommons.bard.edu/undergrad/. Please note that this is a temporary measure to provide access to authorized users who would under normal circumstances have access. All copyrights and license agreements still apply.

To access a campus-only project remotely, click on the “Bard Off Campus Download” button and you will be prompted to enter your Bard username and password. Then you will be taken directly to the PDF of the senior project.

If you do NOT see the Off Campus Download button, that project is available open access.

New Database: CantApp: The General Prologue

Thesaurus Linguae Graecae (TLG): A Digital Library of Greek Literature

TLG has collected and digitized most literary texts written in Greek from Homer to the fall of Byzantium. Its goal is to create a comprehensive digital library of Greek literature from antiquity to the present. The Online TLG contains more than 110 million words from over 10,000 works associated with 4,000 authors and is constantly updated and improved with new features and texts.
