At the beginning of each semester, student must turn in their course schedules via the Academic Schedule Google Form so that lessons and chamber music coachings can be scheduled accordingly. Students should keep in mind that heavy work schedules (campus jobs) may not be possible for Conservatory students. Work schedules and extracurricular activities cannot be considered when scheduling lessons and coachings.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies:
- Lesson and coaching times, and changes in lesson/coaching times, must be arranged through the Conservatory office, not privately with the teacher, since any changes may affect other students’ schedules.
- Cancelled lessons and chamber coachings will be made up only at the discretion of the teacher.
- Generally, the office will not cover transportation costs for lessons that are rescheduled at the instigation of the student.
The Lesson Scheduling Office could arrange rehearsal times for those groups who may have difficulties scheduling regular rehearsals.
Chamber Music groups are expected to rehearse at least two times before each coaching.
