We help you book concerts, produce programs, publicize, and arrange set-ups for streamed and/or recorded concerts, recitals, recordings, off-campus concerts, and special events sponsored by the Conservatory. WHO’S WHO:
Kat Ottosen Associate Director of Event Production and Communications, [email protected]
Kat is in charge of the general production of larger-scale Conservatory events, and provides oversight of the Conservatory performance season, residencies, as well as select Conservatory/College hybrid performance productions. Kat is the Conservatory Producer and Conservatory Liaison to Fisher Center. Kat also spearheads Conservatory event communications and marketing.
Mary-Liz O’Neill, Associate Director of Curriculum and Programming, [email protected]
Mary-Liz oversees required and non-required student recitals, the concerto competition, the noon concert series, and manages the Conservatory Performance Space calendar. Email Mary-Liz to make CPS reservation requests and check potential concert/event dates. Submit all program material and concert forms via email to Mary-Liz in the timeline outlined in your recital contract.
Marc Mancus, Associate Director of Production and Student Employment, [email protected]
Marc oversees the production elements of Conservatory events in CPS & Olin Hall, as well as coordinates the use of any A/V equipment, equipment maintenance, and live streaming in those spaces. Recording assistance in CPS can be arranged through him. Additionally, he handles Olin Hall reservations and oversees all student employees within the Conservatory.
All stage plots, production needs, and equipment requests should be submitted to Marc at least 30 days before your concert or recording date.
Michael Lynam, Campuswide Piano Technician, [email protected]
Michael makes regular rounds of all the pianos on campus for tunings and repairs. If you notice tuning problems or repairs needed anywhere on campus, please fill out the Piano Tuning Request Form, or send an email to [email protected].
Plan Ahead
All recitals are coordinated by the Conservatory Concert Office. We are a small office, with a lot of concerts and events to manage. The earlier you finalize your concert details, the better we can help you with your event.
- Sign up early for Noon Concerts.
- Pay attention and respect deadlines.
- If you need to cancel a concert or rehearsal, please let the concert office know!
