The purpose: to showcase leading business solutions to climate change, and to call for further action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Megan Boone, star of NBC\u2019s <em>The Blacklist<\/em> is a featured speaker. Boone is also getting her MBA at Bard part-time, with plans to bring sustainable business models to the entertainment industry. According to Boone, \u201cIt\u2019s high noon for the planet. We need climate action now to create a livable world for our kids\u2014including my own daughter Caroline\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Other speakers include Dr. Robert Litterman, former head of Risk Management at Goldman Sachs, and sustainable business pioneer, finance professional, and author Hunter Lovins.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Lovins notes that, across the world, \u201cbusiness is stepping up with innovative, large-scale solutions to the climate crisis. We are in a race to stop global warming\u2014and that\u2019s the good news. We haven\u2019t lost yet. But all of us, and especially businesses, have got to run faster.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Rally will be held Monday, September 24<sup>th<\/sup> in New York\u2019s Battery Park, just off of Wall Street, from noon to 1 PM. The location is more than symbolic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Bard MBA Director Eban Goodstein says that to stabilize the climate, \u201cFinance is critical.
