Nuvance Health \u2013 Northwell Health\/Northern Dutchess Hospital (NDH) welcomes Bard students to volunteer in various departments. To apply for a volunteer position, students must follow the application process<\/a>. This process is similar to a job application, where the hospital conducts thorough vetting of candidates. Please be aware that this process may take 3-4 weeks to complete. Not every applicant is accepted to volunteer; the hospital will make its own hiring decisions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Confirmed and selected student volunteers will be able to volunteer on pre-scheduled days and times. If there are students interested in volunteering for the same shift they may be able to do so on a rotating basis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Transportation<\/b>: The Career Development Office may be able to provide transportation if the volunteer schedule and availability of drivers align.\u00a0 Alternatively, students will be required to arrange transportation for themselves to the hospital either via private vehicle or to coordinate with the <\/span>Dutchess County Loop<\/span><\/a>, Route C.<\/span><\/p>\n
