CHRA Director Tania El Khoury<\/a> recently co-curated (with Bochra Triki)\u00a0Tashweesh 2022<\/a>: a festival on feminist practices in Southwest Asia, North Africa, and Europe. The program took place across the three cities of Tunis, Brussels, and Vienna (September 23 through October 15, 2022) and was hosted by L\u2019Art Rue<\/a>, beursschouwburg<\/a>, and Tanzquartier Wien,<\/a> respectively.<\/p>\n

Tashweesh curated a new commission by artist Rima Najdi; a short film program featuring the works of Mona Benyamin, Intissar Belaid, Amel Guellaty, Alexandre Paulikevitch, and Sophia Al-Maria; a performance by Salma Said and Miriam Coretta Schulte; as well as local programs in all three cities that featured academic lectures, talks by activists and artists, performances, workshops, film screenings, visual art exhibitions, readings, and dance parties.<\/p>\n
