Planting Seeds for a Sustainable Food System

Project Description

Join Katrina Light, Director of Food Sustainability, in planting the Urban Cultivator in the Campus Center. Students will choose what plants to grow and get their hands dirty. We’ll discuss ways to improve students’ connection to food at Bard and also dive into the many ways food relates to larger issues of the environment, culture, the economy and health. Snacks will be provided.
