A professional development program for Bard juniors and seniors
Saturday, January 19 through Friday, January 25, 2013.
Designed as a mentor-based series of workshops and interactive discussions for juniors and seniors to prepare them for life after Bard, Bard Works provides participants with the tools, strategies and networking opportunities to creatively connect personal passion to professional opportunities. Working with staff, faculty, alumni, parents and mentors, participants will explore the question: “Imagining your dream career – what does it look like and what does it take to get there?”
Workshops, panels and events will focus on personal assessment, professional life skills, mentorship and networking including: entrepreneurship, public speaking, leadership, negotiation, job searching, resume writing, financial literacy and mock interviews.
Online registration November 1st through 30th
$200 fee for housing and meal plan to be paid by December 10th
